Storage for the more important things.

When I packed up my classroom at the end of last year, I was so overwhelmed with the amount of teaching gear I had- which is housed in my filing cabinet and transformed ikea anebode . However one thing I wish I'd done is rented my textbooks rather than buying them. Then I wouldn't have a bunch of educational textbooks taking up room that I never have the time or need to look at.

So for all those readers out there who are off to college let me tell you about the perks of renting textbooks instead of buying them and ending up with resources you'll never use.
A great system to use is Campus Book Rentals because:
-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
-free shipping both ways
-can highlight in the textbooks
-flexible renting periods
And the best bit they donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented. If you haven't hear of Operation Smile, they do some amazing work to change lives, check out here for more info about their great work.
check out this cute smile!

If you're like me and stuck with a bunch of books then RentBack is new initiative that allows students to rent the textbooks they own - to other students... which is awesome because it makes them 2-4x more money compared to what you'd make through buyback options! (selling their books back at the end of the semester).

Then the cute storage ideas you come up with can be used for better things like craft supplies and fabric...is there ever enough room in the fabric cupboard for all the cute fabrics out there?
